Job summary

EDF power solutions in Edinburgh is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of onshore renewable assets, joining the intersection of commercial strategy, operational excellence and investor relations.

You'll drive performance, manage budgets and forecasts, coordinate with engineering, finance, procurement and projects, and support life-extension and capital investment decisions to maximise asset value and deliver a net-zero future.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a portfolio of energy assets.
• Experience in an energy company, advisory, or investment setting.
• Commercial and technical experience with energy assets.
• Understands energy markets, policy and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewable energy assets to meet performance and business plan objectives.
• Monitor and challenge operational performance to maximise asset availability and generation.
• Act as primary investor contact and present at board level.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reviews.
• Oversee compliance with contracts, insurance, and commercial agreements.
• Work with development and project teams for smooth handovers into operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, performance, finance, procurement and operations teams to optimise asset performance.
• Support major repairs, capital investment decisions, life extension opportunities and contingencies.
