Well-established Social Housing provider

This role is within a completely new team introduced as part of planned asset investment. The organization is passionate about delivering an approved rolling 5-year and 30-year capital programme for housing investment and seeks an Asset Investment Manager who understands Disrepair/DMC and other complex issues.

The Role

Working as part of the Management Team, you will provide leadership and direction to a team of 4 direct reports. In this exciting new role, you will lead in delivering a wide-ranging caseload through a dedicated team, including cases related to Disrepair, DMC, Fire Damage, Insurance claims, and structural issues.

This role will have responsibility for delivery within a defined operating area. You will have experience with a range of contract delivery models and will prioritize customer involvement and safety. When necessary, you will act as an Expert Witness.

  • Lead an asset investment team to deliver the annual asset investment programme, ensuring customer focus throughout all activities.
  • Ensure effective management of contracts for asset investment and support compliance with contractual obligations, including all other asset and estate management services.
  • Support your team in achieving excellent customer service and operational performance through effective asset investment.
  • Maintain consistent contract management, performance monitoring, and budget control across projects.
The Person

The successful candidate will have recent relevant managerial experience and professional qualifications in a related field. They will have a proven track record of delivering significant and varied work programmes in a public sector or commercial environment.

Ideally, you will be RICS/CIOB qualified and educated to degree level in building/construction.

  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
