Job summary

Melville Housing Association is seeking an Asset Manager to shape and deliver the asset management strategy across almost 2,150 homes in Scotland. You will lead repairs and maintenance, manage budgets, and work with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to ensure safe, sustainable, well-maintained homes now and for the future.

Qualifications

• Experience leading property/asset management teams.
• Strong track record in repairs and maintenance service delivery.
• Budget discipline and cost-control experience.
• Customer-focused approach with tenants and partners.

Responsibilities

• Line managing the Senior Property Officer and Property Assistants, supporting their development and delivering a high-quality service.
• Overseeing reactive repairs to tenants, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency and customer-focused outcomes.
• Leading void properties and void repairs management to bring homes back into use promptly.
• Supporting the Head of Asset Management with budgets and delivery of reactive, void and planned maintenance.
• Leading health and safety compliance across Melville’s housing stock and offices.
• Promoting excellent customer service and building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
