An established industry player in private equity real estate is on the lookout for an Asset Manager to cover maternity leave. This role, on a fixed-term contract, offers a chance to manage a growing portfolio of commercial assets across the UK. The Company:
A leading private equity real estate fund manager who primarily invests in office assets in the UK and across Europe is seeking an Asset Manager on a 12-14 month fixed term contract.
Job Purpose:
Providing maternity leave cover, the successful individual will support the asset management function as their portfolio continues to grow, while also supporting the development and investment teams on a range of active asset management instructions and projects.
Responsibilities:
The strategic management of a portfolio of UK commercial assets within their current value-add fund structures.
Liaising with property managers, agents, solicitors, and other external consultants regarding the asset management plan.
Managing key stakeholder relationships.
Letting/repositioning of vacant units.
Supporting the investment team through the acquisition process to onboard new assets.
Contributing to the formulation and review of business plans for individual assets.
Supporting the implementation of a range of capital expenditure projects.
Working with asset analysts to support portfolio and asset level analysis and debt reporting.
Candidate Profile:
MRICS qualification desirable.
Professional background in asset management, property management, tenant advisory, or valuation will be considered.
Experience of UK regional office markets advantageous but multi-sector experience will be considered. Proficiency in Excel.
Strong report writing skills.
Remuneration:
The role is paying up to £60,000/£65,000, dependent on experience, plus benefits and bonus.
