Job summary

Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is seeking an AM Operations Director to build and embed the operating structure around Asset Management as we grow and manage increasingly complex renewable assets.

The role ensures basics are done well, ownership across funds and functions is clear, and standards are consistently applied.

• It will take ownership of important work that cuts across funds and functions, where standards already exist but are not consistently embedded, or where there is currently no clear owner.
• The successful candidate will help ensure that OEGEN’s scale benefits investors: issues are identified earlier, suppliers are held to account, and lessons from one asset improve how we manage the wider portfolio.
• They will also support Asset Management leadership in the continual development of our high-performance culture.
• The role will evolve with the business. As markets, grid arrangements, regulations, technology and operating models become more complex, the successful candidate will help ensure that the way OEGEN manages assets keeps pace. This may include developing the operating model for new platform businesses, IPPs, revenue functions and technology-enabled ways of working.
