Responsibilities
  • Service our insurance and pensions clients throughout the investment life cycle, including business development, onboarding, account maintenance, and reporting - this takes place in close collaboration with portfolio managers, sales, the broader fixed income platform, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage periodic deliverable process, ensuring timely completion and delivering efficiencies.
  • Prepare and automate customized analyses for client portfolios and review meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain strategy presentations.
  • Contribute to RFPs / DDQs, ad hoc client requests and publications.
  • Oversee onboarding process for clients including drafting guidelines, creating benchmarks, and liaising with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate setup.
  • Develop subject matter expert knowledge on investment activities of insurance companies and pension funds as well as fixed income investment in a segregated mandate format. Over time, progress level of ownership and actively contribute to product-related client meetings.
  • Cover ESG-specific client requests, analyses and industry developments alongside the broader platform and our sustainable investing team.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and drive efficiencies (ie. automation solutions)
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Proven experience with a passion for Fixed Income markets.
  • Experience in a client portfolio management / investment specialist, sales / IR or investments at an Asset Management firm, Wealth Manager, Investment Bank, or Institutional Investor (e.g., Sovereign Wealth Fund, Endowment).
  • Advanced experience in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Superior multi-tasking; strong organizational, process management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with an emphasis on detail orientation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, positive approach with ability to learn concepts and procedures quickly (including regulatory constraints faced by insurers and product/solution development).
  • Self-motivated problem solver
  • Ability to manage and execute C-level relationships with large multi-national insurers.
  • Strong strategic sales skills and experience working with senior EMEA Client Advisors.
  • Understanding of regulatory constraints faced by insurers and product/solution development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Proficiency in a European language (i.e. Italian, German, or French)
  • Proficiency in coding is a plus
