Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking an Asset Management Consultant to deliver a range of asset management projects across transport infrastructure. You will apply data and analysis to inform asset strategies and work with clients to shape programmes.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage stakeholders, and contribute to tender responses while embracing flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Security clearance may be required.

This newly formed, externally facing business is designed to align closely with our clients' evolving needs, while creating fresh opportunities for our people to grow, develop, and thrive as part of a collaborative and innovative practice.

In Asset Management, we help our clients to get the most out of their infrastructure assets. We provide the information they need to make key plans and decisions about the future, such as when to invest in their assets and what maintenance activities to prioritise. We help clients understand their data and bring it to life, using a variety of tools and solutions.

Your role

As an Asset Management Consultant, you'll be working with our clients to deliver a diverse range of projects from implementing innovative uses of new technology, formulating national asset management guidance, providing strategic direction for asset management policy, and using data and analysis tools to develop works programmes. Wherever you're based, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by colleagues in offices across the UK and the globe.

Your purpose

• Possess a background in project delivery, a sound technical background, excellent communication and organisational skills and some knowledge and understanding of transportation clients.
• Work within diverse teams to support the delivery of technical asset management projects or programmes.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients to secure new, additional or repeat business.
• Support the development of tender responses for asset management opportunities.

About you

• Knowledge of asset management practices and of the ISO 55000 series and their practical application.
• Experience of working in asset management, either in an advisory role or in the delivery of maintenance activities.
• Experience of engaging with stakeholder groups and communicating technical messages.
• Understanding of asset management guidance documents.
• A confident, professional manner with a "Can Do" approach.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex matters to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and relevant way.
• Ability to work collaboratively within AtkinsRéalis, our supply chain and with clients.
