Company Overview

A Wealth and Asset Management company based in the City of London is seeking an experienced Senior Client Services Administrator to work with Investment Managers in the Private Client team. The role involves delivering high-quality client service and suggesting improvements to the department’s working practices.

Role Details

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with Investment Managers to discuss client requirements, arrange account opening, liaise with internal teams and third parties, and maintain direct contact with clients throughout the process.
  2. Maintain existing client accounts, including AML reviews, amendments, sub-accounts, and record keeping.
  3. Liaise with third parties regarding custodial matters and the opening of derivative and FFX accounts.
  4. Develop ongoing relationships with clients where appropriate.
  5. Administer client data on internal and external systems.
  6. Handle client queries related to reporting, cash transactions, custody, and transitions.
  7. Coordinate with third-party consultants and audit firms to meet client requirements.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver high service levels.
  9. Assist and train new and junior team members as needed.
  10. Support Investment Managers with their tasks efficiently and promptly.
  11. Provide support and coverage for the Client Administration Team.
  12. Attend client meetings when required.
Person Specification
  • Sound technical knowledge and experience of client onboarding within an Asset Management environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management company structures and organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence to engage directly with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Numerical, analytical, and PC skills.
  • Knowledge of investment parameters, fee structures, securities, corporate actions, and tax rules.
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as IOC.
