Our Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) advises major public and private sector infrastructure and asset-intensive organisations across all sectors, including Natural Resources, Energy, Power, Utilities, Transport, Oil and Gas, Defence, Health and Education. We are strengthening our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to meet increasing demand from these organisations in support for how to use data, analytics and technology to unlock value from their assets and infrastructure. This is a fast-growing area offering exciting opportunities, building upon our global capabilities in Infrastructure, Asset Management and Data Analytics.

We are seeking an ambitious and innovative professional who is passionate about infrastructure and technology, with the skills and desire to combine the two to drive improvements for our clients.

The next decade will see unprecedented growth across infrastructure, power and utilities. These industries face challenges including delivery pace, cost escalations, supply chain issues, and skills shortages. Our clients need support in navigating these challenges, transforming their organisations, digitising operations, and driving efficiency.

We are building our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to support Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure clients. Our team includes expertise in Regulation, Strategy, Project Finance, Capital Delivery, Asset Management, and Operations. We are investing in next-generation technology and AI to transform our advisory services.

This role involves leading growth and delivery of Asset Management and supporting technologies, building relationships with senior management, and identifying business opportunities. You will manage relationships with Enterprise Asset Management Systems and other digital solutions providers.

• Build client relationships to understand their challenges and the role of Asset Management and Technology.
• Mobilise and manage cross-functional teams for client engagements.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading in KPMG's global Asset Management and InfraTech networks.
• Managing relationships with Alliance Partners in EAM Systems and digital Asset Management solutions.
• Managing project teams for medium-large or complex engagements.
• Business development activities like opportunity identification and proposals.
• Ensuring quality and risk management on engagements.
• Financial management including budgeting and invoicing.
• Mentoring IAG employees.
• Client-facing roles in business development and delivery.
• Supporting productionising of proof of concepts.
• Change management for client teams.
• Developing internal networks within KPMG.

The Person

• Experience in business development and delivery in relevant sectors.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Experience advising on technology strategies and deploying data, analytics, and technology solutions.
• Broad understanding of infrastructure industries.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management Systems and digital solutions.
• Deep knowledge in at least one industry sector.
• Innovative thinking demonstrated.

Desirable experience

• Experience in disruptive sectors or startups.
• Experience with Asset Intelligence, Digital Twin, or Smart Buildings projects.
• Managing consultancy or client-facing assignments.
• Managing complex change programmes with technology elements.
• Building business cases for systems and technology funding.
