Newcastle City Council (NCC) has an exciting opportunity to join its Asset Management team as an Asset Management Assistant. We are looking for someone who cares about housing and wants to ensure customers receive the best and safest properties. This is a chance to develop your skills and progress your career at NCC.
We are recruiting an Asset Management Assistant to contribute to the development and maintenance of NCC property information systems. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, collating data for updates, monitoring IT systems, and supporting organizational activities. You will also support customers by providing access to safety programs and capital project information.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable about housing maintenance, refurbishment, or property management. Experience with IT packages and administrative systems is essential. You should be well-organized, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and accurately. Your supporting statement should demonstrate, with examples, how you meet these criteria.
