Job description

The Engineering Team Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Engineering team by providing administrative and technical support across multiple functions. This position serves as a key liaison between different engineering stakeholders, managing workflows and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Engineering Team Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Engineering team members
  • Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Manage communication between team members and other departments
  • Programme Lead Support
    • Capture and document remedial work orders with accuracy and attention to detail
    • Log and upload work orders to CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) system
    • Track status of remedial work requests from initiation to completion
  • Project and B2IM Support
    • Develop and implement processes to ensure timely project document handover
    • Liaise with the client's PMO to understand programmes of work and pipeline projects
    • Create project entries and raise work orders in CAFM for RSCP projects
    • Facilitate information flow between project stakeholders
    • Monitor adherence to document handover processes and suggest improvements
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct quality checks of remedial works against specifications
    • Document findings and prepare reports
    • Recommend process improvements based on QA findings
  • Compliance Support
    • Assist with quality checks of PPM documents
    • Ensure documentation meets standards and maintain compliance records
  • Asset Management
    • Support asset change requests and track modifications
    • Maintain accurate asset records
    Qualifications and Skills
    • Experience in administrative or coordinator roles, preferably in engineering or facilities management
    • Familiarity with CAFM systems and asset management principles
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
    • Basic understanding of engineering documentation and terminology
