Job description

A Housing Association has a fantastic permanent opportunity for an Asset Investment Manager working within planned asset management.
The Role
Working as part of the Management Team, you will provide leadership and direction to your team. In this exciting new role, you will take the lead in helping deliver the wide-ranging annual Asset Investment Plan c£25m through a dedicated team. This will include estate regeneration, component replacement, major works, and special projects. All within social housing. You will have experienced a range of contract delivery models and ensure customer involvement, and their safety is your priority. You will be managing a team of 4 direct reports, including 2 building and 1 quantity surveyor.
What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a significant amount of recent relevant social housing maintenance experience at a managerial level and professional qualifications in a relevant area.
In addition, they will have a track record of successfully delivering significant and varied work programmes in a public sector or commercial environment.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent
Social housing sector/industry experience.
Proven experience of Health and Safety involving property maintenance and minor works projects Contract Management experience
