Overview

Position: Asset Maintenance Manager
Location: North East England or North Yorkshire
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 PA plus car allowance and rail pass, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Asset Maintenance Manager to ensure the full delivery of all maintenance, asset and compliance within contractual guidelines on a Facility Management contract. The role involves auditing and verification of existing Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC assets and the maintenance schedules to ensure an effective and compliant service. Based from either North Yorkshire or Tyne / Tees side.

Responsibilities
  • Check and oversee contractual obligations including:
  • M&E Maintenance
  • Small works projects and refurbishment
  • Statutory compliance
  • H&S auditing
  • Asset surveying, SFG20, PPM planning and compliance logs
  • Update asset lists, schedules and instruction sets on the maintenance management system
  • Ensure that Risk Assessments, COSHH records and safe methods of work records are held on site
  • Ensure that records are maintained in compliance with local and national legislation
  • Ensure that the work schedules and subcontractor onsite works regularly reviewed to ensure best value for money and efficient delivery of services
  • Effective, ongoing and structured management of the contract management team
Requirements
  • Former Building Services Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience in the management of assets and compliance oversight
  • Facilities Management experience
  • Working knowledge of CAFM/Concept systems, SFG20 etc. IT Skills
  • Proven successful working relationships with high end service providers
