Job description

Role: Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: Southend-on-Sea

As an Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Adhering to safety guidelines and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
• Servicing and maintaining Diesel, Petrol, and Electrically powered Small Plant, Agricultural, and Ground Care Equipment
• Attending Breakdowns, Fault Finding, and completing planned Preventative Maintenance
• Maintaining high customer service standards and addressing queries
• Completing job activities electronically and ordering required parts
• Maintaining the company vehicle and ensuring it has the correct parts stock
• Developing and maintaining customer relationships through high standards of service

As an Asset Maintenance Field Service Engineer, you should demonstrate:

• Relevant technical qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
• The ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong workload management and prioritization skills
• Understanding customer needs

Compensation and Benefits:

• A base salary from £36,934 per annum based on a 40-hour week
• Overtime payable at 1.5x Monday – Saturday and 2x on Sunday
• Vehicle available for private use (tax to be paid)
