Job summary

ScottishPower is seeking an Asset Control Manager to lead stores, logistics and purchasing, based in Newarthill with hybrid working (2-3 days in the office). You will oversee the Warrington operation, manage stock and assets, and drive cost efficiencies across Scotland and the North West of England. Travel between sites is required.

You will lead a team, manage supplier relationships and budgets while ensuring safety, compliance and high service levels in a large-scale energy business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics/operational environment with leadership of teams and high-volume stock operations.
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stores, logistics and purchasing across Scotland and our Warrington operation.
• Lead stock, assets, equipment, fleet requirements and supplier relationships across a geographically dispersed operation.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance performance.
• Forecast stock requirements and manage budgets to support field teams.
