Job summary

Better Days Recruitment Ltd partners with a Surrey energy and data company to recruit a permanent Asset Analyst. The role focuses on maintaining asset data, supporting billing, and resolving customer queries via email in a back-office capacity.

Hybrid working is offered with two days in the office and three days from home. The ideal candidate is a graduate with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a good communication, numerical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree educated, preferably a business-related degree.
• Some work experience is essential, eg; customer service/administration etc.
• Strong Excel skills and capable of learning more complex tasks on Excel.
• Confident with Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• An analytical and numerical mind.
• Keen eye for detail and good problem solver.
• Strive to get things right first time.
• Supportive and helpful team player.
• Demonstrate a customer focused approach.
• Professional, confident and calm in busy situations.
• Able to present information clearly and concisely.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Experience of using systems or customer databases is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset data and ensure meter databases and industry registers are accurate through reporting and reconciliations.
• Track and recover meter assets that have been removed from customers.
• Maintain the network systems to ensure the growing portfolio and meter points are registered and included in billing following a meter being installed.
• Ensure service level agreements are met and working to KPIs according to procedures.
• Provide front‑line service for the meter and network services via email.
