Job Description

The key purpose of this role within our Investment Governance Team within Client Assurance is about developing a strong relationship with FNZ and other key outsourcers to oversee a strong Delivery and Control environment and influence third parties to delivery good outcomes for the business and our clients.

About The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Asset Assurance Specialist to join our Client Assurance Investment Governance Team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with key outsourcing partners to oversee the delivery and control environment, ensuring exceptional outcomes for both the business and our clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet the highest standards of conduct, building trusted relationships and supporting fair outcomes for our clients and customers
  • Ensuring that assets are added and maintained on the platform, whilst working within the embedded framework and controls to maintain the risk profile and appetite of the business
  • Liaising with internal and third party stakeholders developing strong relationships and managing the demands of our investors with ongoing influencing and engagement to ensure our investors demands are met
  • Seeking assurance from third parties over the controls in outsourced services assessing the effectiveness of risk management and monitoring speedy resolution of issues.
  • Undertake due diligence of new and existing EFMs and DFMs, whilst building and maintaining suitable reporting to ensure oversight deliveries remain on track
  • Oversee and management of platform fund data to ensure that both fund additions and existing range is in line with the market
  • Maintain internal data e.g. Master record to ensure weekly oversight / fund lists etc. replicate the market
  • Providing assurance over the compliance of regulation with a focus on MiFID, PROD, COBS, SYSC, DPA and Conduct risk

Skills and experience
  • A strong set of analytical skills, naturally inclined to analyse and challenge current processes and seek to ensure best practice at all times.
  • Adaptability through change
  • Good interpersonal skills to assist with working with the team and across the business
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations especially MiFID, PROD and COBS is not essential but is beneficial.
