SP Electricity North West is seeking an Asset Analytics Manager to lead data science and asset risk modelling across the network. You will head the Asset Analytics Team and influence major information system projects focused on optimising the capital programme.

The role requires strong knowledge of electricity distribution networks, data analytics, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to support investment decisions and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, influence and improve business processes.
• Strong knowledge of electricity distribution networks and data systems.
• Experience with complex datasets, including geospatial data.
• Experience applying data science, AI and ML to business challenges.
• Understanding of energy sector regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Asset Analytics Team to high performance.
• Develop asset analytics, risk modelling and data processes for capital planning.
• Oversee asset risk modelling and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Advance capital programme optimisation and value across the network.
• Champion data science and analytics to improve business performance.
• Ensure asset data is accurate and fit for reporting and planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align asset strategies with objectives.
• Represent asset analytics in digital transformation initiatives.
• Build relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
• Mentor team members and foster continuous improvement.
