We are seeking a cyber-savvy Assessor / Trainer who's ready to "decrypt" complex IT concepts and turn them into clear, career-launching lessons for the next generation of digital defenders.

Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across cyber, networking, and IT programmes (apprenticeships and degree-level).
- Support learners through pastoral guidance, progress review, and motivational coaching.
- Design assessment instruments, verify evidence, and maintain robust quality assurance standards.
- Liaise with employers and workplace mentors to ensure learning is aligned with real-world industry needs.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in professional development to stay updated with emerging cyber trends and instructional techniques.
Essential Requirements
- Solid technical expertise and industry experience in cyber, IT, networking, or infrastructure.
- Experience in assessment, training, or teaching (preferably in further education or apprenticeships).
- Strong communication, organisation, and coaching skills.
- Commitment to learner success, resilience, and flexibility in delivery.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable / Advantageous
- Formal assessor/trainer qualifications (e.g. A1 / TAQA / Assessing).
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, attack/defence labs or forensic toolkits.
- Understanding of employer-led apprenticeship frameworks and funding mechanisms.
