The Assessor Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of assessment processes. Through effective scheduling, support, and communication, the Assessor Coordinator ensures assessors are well‑prepared, aligned with standards, and equipped to deliver fair, timely, and high‑quality assessments. This role strengthens organisational performance by reducing assessment errors, improving completion rates, and supporting continuous quality improvement across all training and assessment activities. The Assessor Coordinator also acts as the primary liaison between assessors, account managers, and leadership, identifying gaps, monitoring performance, and implementing improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, contribute to accreditation readiness, and uphold the organisation’s reputation for excellence in assessment.

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Care Assessor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping people maintain their independence, health, and wellbeing within the community. This position is a split role, with responsibilities across Cumbria, South West Scotland & Lancashire. Reports to the Driver Development Manager. Salary: £35,000 vs £45,000 per annum (including car allowance or company vehicle). Hours: 42.5 hours per week – 5 out of 7 days, with evening work as required.
Salary starts at £28,124 full‑time (37.5 hours per week), rising to £30,906 upon successful completion of a six‑month probationary period and review. Full or part‑time basis, with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week. Fixed‑term 12‑month position.
