Sopra Steria in Newport is hiring a Full-time, fixed-term role to provide first-line technical and operational support for online assessments. You’ll help candidates and assessors troubleshoot issues, monitor live sessions, and perform basic admin tasks, with hybrid working and monthly office visits.
Ideal candidates have experience in customer support, strong organisational and communication skills, and are comfortable supporting users remotely via Teams.

You’ll be joining our Transformative Business Services team, supporting the delivery of online assessment solutions for high-profile clients. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring assessments run smoothly by providing technical and operational support to both candidates and assessors.

This role is hybrid. You’ll primarily work remotely, with occasional office attendance – typically once per month in Newport or another centre of excellence. Working hours are on a rota between 07:30 and 21:00, offering variety and flexibility.
Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (24 months).
Location: Newport (hybrid – typically once per month in the office).

Salary: £27,781 – £30,000.
