Job description

Are you committed to making a positive change and empowering service users to achieve a better quality of life?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assessment & Engagement Worker to work with service users and multi-agency team members in an essential liaison role.

This full time, permanent position will focus on drawing in local community assets to support the delivery of recovery focussed outcomes, promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions in the hub reception areas.

Main duties of the job
  • Work as an integral part of the service in delivering high quality interventions within the hub.
  • Work with and support the Inclusion multi-disciplinary team
  • Facilitate harm reduction interventions
  • Supporting service users who are attending the reception area of the service.
  • Contributing to service users working collaboratively to build their recovery capital and ensuring positive recovery outcomes.
  • Ensuring service users have scheduled appointments and remove barriers to attendance.
  • Promoting visible recovery in the hub, especially in reception areas.
  • Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
  • Ensuring that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.
  • Ensuring the reception environment is welcoming and accessible.

  • Evidence of continuous Professional development
