Job Title: Assessment Administrator

Salary: £24,900 - £28,650 per annum

Location: Cambridge -The Triangle Building, UK - Hybrid

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (ends May 2027)

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Assessment Administrator to join our successful, high performing team which provides support to millions of IELTS customers around the world.

About the role

As an Assessment Administrator, you will be supporting internal teams and external suppliers working on end-to-end test content production and results determination processes.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
  • providing administrative support for the production of test content at item/task/test level by selecting and completing tasks from the Worklog and ensuring they meet required standards of quality and accuracy
  • providing administrative support for quality assurance activity on marking and results determination processes
  • adhering to Cambridge University Press & Assessment and IELTS policy and procedure in relation to test security
  • escalating any identified risks and issues through the appropriate route

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a high performing team delivering a world leading brand.

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.

About You

As an Assessment Administrator, you will need to have experience providing high-quality administrative services using Microsoft Office products and Adobe Pro. You will have some knowledge of the IELTS ecosystem. Meticulous about confidentiality, you will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritising your workload to tight deadlines. Your expertise extends to planning, co-ordination, prioritisation and decision-making skills. You are confident in working with complex processes and systems and follow standard procedures to ensure compliance with business, financial and legal considerations.

As an excellent communicator, you will bring strong interpersonal skills. Your collaborative approach helps you engage effectively with stakeholders. You are flexible, especially around change. You role model the values of empowerment, collaboration, responsibility and innovation and are responsive to EDIB. You will have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents).
