Role Overview - Assembly and Test Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Assembly and Test Technician to join their team at a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Tewkesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of a wide range of hydraulic components manufactured for the motorsport and aerospace industries. This role operates on a night shift basis.

Responsibilities
  • Finding and testing faults of complex hydraulic products
  • Assembling complex hydraulic products
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Completing quality audits
  • Building new or repairing complex hydraulic products
  • Using measuring equipment (micrometers, Vernier calipers, height gauges) to inspect component parts
Qualifications and Experience
  • Apprentice-trained (or equivalent qualification), ideally in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a complex engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Competent at reading and following different procedures
  • Competency with a range of assembly tools
  • Hydraulic testing experience
