Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains is seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) in Milton Keynes to drive motorsport innovation. You will assemble, service and maintain Power Units including oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, turbocharger and MGU-K at the factory and on events as required.

Based at our state-of-the-art facility, you will read drawings, follow build processes, and input data into internal systems.

Qualifications

• High level of technical understanding with engine-build experience.
• Strong mechanical assembly capability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and build processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel for internal systems.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Motorsport or high-end automotive experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build, service and maintain Power Units including oil pumps, fuel systems, water pumps, turbocharger and MGU-K.
• Work at Milton Keynes facility and on events as required.
• Interpret technical drawings and follow build procedures with data entry.
• Collaborate with team leaders and trackside mechanics to meet deadlines.

We are seeking an Assembly Technician (Powertrain Sub-Assembly) to help drive the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state of the art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

In this Assembly Technician role, you will cover all aspects of assembly, build, servicing and maintenance of our Power Units including oil pumps-fuel systems-water pumps, Turbocharger and MGU-K, both at the factory and on events if requested by the Team Leader or Trackside Chief Mechanic.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and Engine build experience
• A high level of mechanical assembly competence
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and follow technical build processes and procedures including checklist data entry
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel to enable operation of internal business systems.
• Flexible attitude to travel and working hours (where required)
• Motorsport or high-end automotive experience (desired)
