Job summary

Catering is hiring an Assembly Technician in RH20 Codmore Hill, West Sussex. The role focuses on assembling electro mechanical products through encapsulation, plus associated mechanical assembly tasks and routine equipment maintenance.

You will read BOMs and drawings, coordinate workload, and ensure compliance with quality, ISO9001/14001, and health & safety standards. The position offers full training and staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro mechanical products including encapsulation.
• Perform mechanical assembly, pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating.
• Maintain and clean encapsulation machines and related equipment.
• Plan and coordinate workload with production schedules and other departments.
• Raise production paperwork for non-conformances and stores requisitions.
• Uphold quality, ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems and health & safety practices.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and orderliness.
• Read BOMs and drawings and work on own initiative.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Assembly Technician – Full Training given
Location: Pulborough
You’ll be responsible for assembling electro mechanical products through encapsulation processes.

Main Objective

• * Responsible for the assembly of electro mechanical products including the encapsulation process.
• * Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies.
• * Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures.
• * Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers such as repair and design departments.
• * Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.
• * Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented.
• * Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area.
• * Working on own initiative reading BOMs and drawings etc.
• * Engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• * Responsibility for adhering to the Companys Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System.
