JBT currently has a great opportunity for an Assembly Fitter to join the Proseal team just south of Manchester. Proseal UK Ltd designs and manufactures high-quality tray sealing and conveying systems for the food industry, with manufacturing facilities in the UK, North America, and Australia. Established in 1998, Proseal is the leading manufacturer of tray sealing machinery and tooling in the UK and is recognized internationally, with offices and manufacturing facilities across the globe.

The Opportunity

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure assembly and build quality of the highest standard.
  • Ensure machinery is fully PDI’d and tested prior to delivery.
  • Attend site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
  • Maintain self-discipline, proactivity, and diligence.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and delivery dates.
  • Meet or exceed production instructions and quality standards.
  • Escalate build anomalies to relevant personnel.
  • Participate in on-site commissioning and customer training.
