Assembly Technician

Alexander Associates are working with a groundbreaking launch provider in the space industry.

Our Client is looking to expand their team of Assembly Technicians. You’ll work closely with engineers and technicians, using your technical skills to solve problems and drive progress.

As an Assembly Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Operate on the workshop floor, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety standards.
  2. Perform technical tasks with expertise, maintaining complex machinery and equipment for launch vehicle construction.
  3. Monitor work quality to meet aerospace engineering standards.
  4. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement safety measures.
  5. Diagnose and resolve technical issues during production, using a methodical troubleshooting approach.

Desired experience and skills of an Assembly Technician:

  1. Experience in an engineering workshop, ideally in aerospace or automotive.
  2. Skilled in complex engineering tasks and operating specialised machinery.
  3. Strong understanding of health and safety practices, with risk assessment experience.
  4. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to solve technical challenges.
