Job summary

The Job People is hiring a Production Operative for a permanent role in the Wolverhampton area. Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm and Friday 8:30am–2:30pm. Hourly rate £12.71–£13.21 with overtime, equating to roughly £26,436.80–£27,476.80 per year.

You will strip out gearboxes with basic hand tools, use power tools and grinders, operate lathes and overhead cranes, and perform basic automotive mechanical tasks as part of a small team.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or automotive repair experience is advantageous.
• General assembly experience helpful.
• Able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Strip out gearboxes using basic hand tools.
• Use power tools and grinders as part of production.
• Operate lathes and overhead cranes where required.
