Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for Kitchen Assembly & Picking Operatives in Barnsley on a temp-to-perm basis. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with basic pay £13.83 per hour on days and overtime rates available.

Role includes assembling kitchen units on a production line using pneumatic tools, checking quality, packing and securing units for loading. Loader duties may include securing cargo in truck boxes and completing necessary paperwork.

• Temp-to-perm contract with 12 week probation.
• On-site production line experience desirable.

Assembly 7.00-15.30 basic pay is £13.83 per hour on days . Overtime £19.58. This includes heavy lifting.

Picking kitchen parts 8.00-16.30 or 7.00-15.30 £13.50 per hour, overtime £19.11

Shifts will be MONDAY to FRIDAY. 39 hours per week guaranteed.

12 week probation period (temp to perm)

Working on a production line assembling kitchen units using pneumatic tools. Checking quality and then packing and strapping the unit ready for loading.

If you are working as a loader, need to be trained to load and secure the units in the box of the trucks. This is to ensure when the truck is moving units are secure. Ensure all paperwork and labels are correct. Use of scanners when necessary.
