Job description

Nitron are a global manufacturer of premium racing car, motorcycle and OEM suspension with our international headquarters located right in the heart of England’s well-known ‘Motorsport Valley’ in Witney, Oxfordshire. We also boast distribution and assembly operations in Japan with over 70 percent of Nitron’s production being exported with our main focus of sales being into North America. To this end, a new and exciting US company is being established to cover this territory.

We are now seeking to appoint an Assembly Technician with Mechanical/Engineering experience to join our dynamic and growing team.

Our modern, bright and spacious brand new purpose-built building has on-site parking. We are situated very close Witney with easy access to main transport links as well as local shops and facilities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assembly and testing of shock absorbers in collaboration with a team.
  • Verification that all components adhere to stipulated specifications before final assembly.
  • Execution of mechanical tasks with an emphasis on quality and safety.
  • Precision handling and assembling of small parts.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction through meticulous work.
  • Documentation of product history using Microsoft Office.

No previous suspension, shock absorber or car/motorcycle knowledge is required. Full training will be provided.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Existing & proven mechanical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail (extremely important)
  • An ability to listen and learn
  • A very tidy and organised manner
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • The ability to work on your own initiative when required
  • Dependable, accountable team player driven to achieve excellence
  • Smart and presentable appearance
