Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is hiring an Assembly Operator for our Dundee, UK site on a fixed-term, 1-month contract. The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday day/back shift pattern and a pay rate of £13.38 per hour.

New starters will receive fully paid training and will rotate through different manufacturing areas as required by the business. The position emphasizes safety, quality, timely delivery, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Fully paid training will be provided to successful candidates.
• Willingness to work a flexible Monday–Friday day and back shift.
• Ability to work safely and follow Standard Work.
• Strong teamwork and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety – understand the Safe To Start process and promote a safe working culture.
• Quality – follow Standard Work to deliver a quality product for our customer.
• Delivery – maintain a fast pace to meet hourly production targets.
• Inventory – keep workspace and equipment clean and organized (5S).
• Productivity – ensure excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Support – assist Team Leaders and Trainers when issues arise.
• Culture – drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
