Permanent Role

Afternoon shift: 2pm-10:30pm + early finish Friday

£24,000 - £30,000 + 25% afternoon shift allowance + company benefits

As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will have the opportunity to be trained in mechanical assembly for an exciting Aerospace project. What You'll do:

As an Assembly Operator & Tester, you will:

• Assemble & testing of a niche temperature sensor component for a well-established project




• Mechanically build component parts to project specifications




• Set up jigs, fixtures and equipment for assembly or test purposes




• Keep to ongoing manufacturing operations standards and deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as an Assembler or similar position




• Exposure to a similar industry background within a manufacturing or production environment




• An understanding of Mechanical Assembly is a strong plus but can be trained




• Review engineering drawings and apply best practice to project standards




• Eagerness for career progression and a team-player

What else do you need to know?

• Full training is provided at every step




• Hours for this role are afternoon shifts (14:00pm-22:30pm Mon-Thu, 11:00am-16:00pm Friday)




• Substantial overtime available on evenings, nights and weekends once fully trained
