Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a leading high-precision manufacturing business in the Plymouth area to recruit an Assembly Operator. You will assemble hydraulic pumps and motors, test units, and complete daily production paperwork in line with SOPs and quality standards.

You'll work to hourly targets, support KPI reporting, and maintain 5S standards while contributing to continuous improvement. The role offers alternating shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) and a benefits package including

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work to production targets and KPIs.
• Experience following written work instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to use and read basic measuring equipment.
• Good attention to quality, health & safety and 5S standards.

Responsibilities

Monday to Friday 6am- 2pm and 2pm-10pm Alternating Shifts

Yolk Recruitment are partnered with this leading high-precision manufacturing business as they continue to grow. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic pumps and motors in line with company procedures, quality standards and customer requirements. You will also complete production paperwork, carry out daily checks, meet production targets and report any issues or abnormalities to the relevant team.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Assemble hydraulic pumps and motors to company SOPs and quality standards
