Oxford Flow is seeking an Assembly Technician (Mechanical) to join our Production Department at Tungsten Park, Witney. You will assemble components into finished products, operate line equipment, and help ensure quality and timely delivery.
You will work to lean manufacturing principles, maintain safe and clean work areas, and contribute to continuous improvement. Experience with mechanical assemblies and hydraulic products is desirable; English proficiency is essential.
Oxford Flow was founded in 2015 as a spin-out from The University of Oxford and produce the most precise and accurate flow control valves in the world; the range of pressure flow regulators are a fraction of the weight of traditional products and virtually maintenance free. This disruptive technology is used in water and gas distribution networks, oil and gas processes, and other industrial applications. Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) represent a £5bn sector of the global £70bn valve and actuator market.
A rapidly expanding business is looking for an Assembly Technician to extend its manufacturing capability. The role will report to the Production Manager, with the successful candidate responsible for the assembly of a range of components into finished goods across one or more product lines (primarily flow control valves) ensuring required standards of quality and timeliness are met. Working to safety and quality requirements, Assembly Technicians help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimise efficiency and maintain operational excellence.
