Job Responsibilities

Responsible for building high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for clients such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways. You will be fully responsible for all small batch manufacturing of switches and lighting products from start to finish. You will work within a team of 11 employees.

  • Building and testing products by following assembly drawings and build specifications.
  • Ensuring all parts are fully functional throughout assembly and reporting any manufacturing or design errors.
  • Understanding mechanical assembly drawings provided by Design Engineers.
  • Maintaining high-quality control standards and suggesting improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (essential).
  • Ability to prioritize workload (essential).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (essential).
  • Attention to detail (essential).
  • Good communication and numerical skills, both written and verbal (essential).
  • Previous experience in a production assembly environment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable).
  • Soldering experience (desirable).
  • Familiarity with 6S practices (desirable).
  • Experience in quality assurance and documentation (desirable).
Educational Requirements

GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English (desirable).

Company Benefits
  • 39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-12:30.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
