Job summary

Cubed Talent is recruiting for a long-term assembly role at a Bradford site. You’ll assemble parts using hand tools and machinery, read drawings, and produce components and sub-assemblies. The role offers a four-day week and structured, certificated skills training to develop your career.

Starting rates begin at Level 1 with progression to Level 2 as you gain competence, with overtime options available Monday to Saturday and on Sundays/bank holidays. Training provided to entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand tools and machinery.

We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading independent engineeringcompanies, specialists in modular and offsite manufacturing. Their modern site sits just off the M606 in Bradford (BD12), an easy commute from South Bradford, South Leeds, Birstall, Halifax and North Huddersfield.

Whether you've got hands‑on experience or you're looking to get your foot in the door, full training is provided, and there's a clear path to progress.

Your Working Week

Monday to Wednesday: 07:00 - 17:00
Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30
Friday: Your day, with optional overtime if you want the extra cash

Pay That Grows With You

Your rate goes up as your skills do, with a realistic route to Level 2 within 4-6 months of starting, depending on how quickly you reach full competence.
Level 1 (starting rate): £13.46/hour (equivalent to £26,247 per year)
Level 2: £14.45/hour(equivalent to £28,177 per year)

Overtime

Time and a half (1.5x) for hours over 37.5, Monday to Saturday
Double time (2x) on Sundays and Bank Holidays

What You'll Be Doing

• Assembling parts using hand tools and machinery
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Producing components and sub-assemblies
• Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
• Making sure every component is accurately fitted and assembled
• Carrying out basic preventative maintenance
• Keeping your workspace clean, safe and organised
