Hours: 40 per week, 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday

Soldering Operative Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out hand soldering of electronic components to PCBs (both through-hole and surface mount).
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet required standards and tolerances.
  • Work from technical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
  • Assist with general assembly tasks as required

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in soldering within an electronics manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • IPC certification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
