Job summary

Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join their busy factory in Holmfield (HX2). The role is initially a temporary agency position that will become permanent after 3 months of successful employment.

Shift pattern 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm, rotating every two weeks. Salary is £14.73 per hour with overtime at higher rates where available. Immediate start preferred with potential for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hands-on assembly role in manufacturing or factory environments.
• Able to follow engineering drawings and assembly diagrams accurately.
• Familiar with using a wide variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• Follow engineering assembly drawings to ensure correct assembly.
• Utilise hand and power tools to assemble products while maintaining quality.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.

• You must have experience of using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• You are able to follow diagrams and engineers instructions to assemble products.
• You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• To following engineering assembly drawings.
• Utilising hand and power tools to assemble products whilst maintaining consistent quality.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
