Pro-Found Recruitment are on look out for an Assembly Operative for our client based in Rotherham.

Assembly Operative Benefits:

• Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm
• Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour - rate will increase once trained
• Hours: 40 hours per week paid weekly
• Contract: Temporary ongoing - potential of temp to perm based on performance, attendance & client requirement
• Location: Rotherham

Assembly Operative Duties:

• Working on assembly / production lines
• Using hand tools
• Quality checking of materials and finished products
• Packing and taping items
• Working with wood/chip board/MDF
• Manual handling and lifting
• Following instructions
• Working on your own and as part of a team
• Working alongside the CNC Operatives lifting wood into machinery
• Minimum daily requirements (production targets)

Assembly Operative Criteria:

• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - essential
• Experience of operating and using hand tools - essential
• Previous experience assembling furniture - preferred but not essential
• Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
• Hard working, reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work to SOPs
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
• Team player
• Excellent understanding of health and safety in the workplace

**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
