Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is recruiting for an Assembly Operative in Knowsley. The role offers £13.30 per hour, on-site, for ongoing temporary work with potential for permanency. Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with full training provided.

You will follow assembly procedures, use measuring equipment, maintain documentation and help keep a safe, efficient production area. This position asks for prior fabrication experience, reliability, and references.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are followed with correct tools and documentation.
• Complete job cards and related manufacturing processes.
• Read and use measuring equipment as required.
• Keep work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Support team designated functions.
• Report issues to supervision and designated personnel.
• Assist in introducing new products to assembly areas.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

A well-established SME in Knowsley are seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £13.30 and hours are full-time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent. Full training is also offered in this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are carried out using the correct tolls documentation and processes.
• Maintain proper completion of job cards and other associated manufacturing processes.
• Use and read measuring equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area.
• Carry out team designated functions.
• Feedback to Supervision and other designated personnel regarding problems and issues which you encounter.
• Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly areas.
• Pursue cost saving operation where appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
