Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an Assembly Operator in Cowes, Isle of Wight. You’ll join a dedicated team, building high-quality products from detailed instructions, with full training provided for the right candidate.

The role offers a stable, full-time schedule (Mon–Fri) with on-site facilities and a supportive environment that values careful workmanship and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/assembly is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kit components in line with schedules.

Assembly Operator

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Cowes for a dedicated and detail-focused Assembly Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality products as part of a supportive and professional team.

Whether you have previous assembly experience or are looking to develop a career in manufacturing, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kit components in line with production schedules.
• Assemble products to specification using detailed work instructions.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Assist with stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Good manual dexterity and confidence working with small components.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently when required.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Basic IT skills would be an advantage.
