Overview

GI Group are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join our team at a well-established client based in Bradford. The client is globally known for advanced turbocharger technology and is located in BD4 on the Euro-way industrial estate.

Basics
  • Rate: £12.31 per hour (Starting Rate)
  • Shift: Mornings
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Typical Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm; Friday 6am to 12noon
  • Overtime: Paid at a higher rate (dependent on when completed)
  • Uplifts: dependent on satisfactory review
    • After 12 weeks - Uplift 1 - £12.68
    • After 24 weeks - Uplift 2 - £13.05
Duties
  • Working as part of a team on multiple assembly lines throughout the site.
  • Building up different types of vehicle turbos from engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Build using small components and various hand tools.
  • Intricate assembly work using small delicate parts.
  • Maintain good hand-eye coordination and excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality builds.
Ideally
  • Experience in an assembly environment.
  • Experience using hand tools, jigs and other equipment.
  • Access to own vehicle to commute to and from work due to location and shift times.

All candidates will need to be subject to a successful drugs screening, which will take place at point of interview and will take around 30 minutes. Due to AEO Referencing in place, GI Group must be able to reference you via company references for the last 12 months.
