Are you looking for a permanent position where you can settle in, learn new skills and genuinely build a career?
We’re recruiting for a Production Assembly Operative to join an established and supportive manufacturing operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being part of a close-knit team and learning new skills. You’ll initially be trained on one assembly station, with the opportunity to develop across different areas and build your skillset as you progress.
You don’t need to know everything from day one. What we’re really looking for is someone with a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn.
Working within a small production team of approximately 4 to 5 people, you’ll assemble specialist components using a variety of handheld tools and equipment.
Your role will include:
The role can be repetitive at times, so it will particularly suit someone who enjoys practical, structured work and takes satisfaction from producing quality work consistently.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build something longer-term, rather than simply find their next short-term assignment.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Most importantly, you’ll need to be dependable, punctual and genuinely interested in learning.
You’ll generally work within a team of around 4 to 5 colleagues per production line, meaning you’ll get to know the people you work alongside rather than feeling like another number in a huge operation.
Each day starts with a briefing from management covering the day’s requirements and production targets. You’ll then work collaboratively with your team to achieve the required output.
The business also operates regular 10-minute breaks throughout the working day, alongside a one-hour lunch break, with an early 1:30pm finish every Friday.
One of the biggest attractions of this opportunity is the chance to develop.
You’ll receive on-the-job training from experienced colleagues, including team members who have been with the business for many years.
You’ll initially concentrate on becoming confident at your first assembly station before being given opportunities to learn other stations and larger components.
The company actively encourages people to broaden their skills, and there are opportunities to undertake additional training and courses funded by the business as you develop.
If you’re someone who wants to put the effort in, learn and potentially progress through the ranks, there is genuine scope to develop.
If you’re looking for a stable permanent role with a business that will invest in your development, we’d love to hear from you.
