Job summary

Bamford Contract Services Ltd is seeking two time-served mechanical fitters for a fixed-term contract in Rochdale. You will work with our engineering client on machine building, assembling components and sub-assemblies, and interpreting engineering drawings.

Candidates must read drawings, use measuring tools, and be competent with general workshop machinery and hand tools. An immediate start is available, with overtime possible and potential extension for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Job description

On behalf of our engineering client based in Rochdale, we are looking for 2 time-served mechanical fitters with previous engineering/mechanical experience to work within their team on a fixed term contract of 1 month+ to undertake machine building, including assembling components and sub-assemblies.

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

Rate

Duration: Fixed term contract (may be extended for the right candidate).
