Assembly Fitter

Multiple Assembly Fitters are needed for a permanent position after a successful 12-week period. Standard days with a salary of circa £25k per annum. Upskilling training provided within a niche market, company pension, parking on site, PPE provided, overtime available, and a lunchtime finish on a Friday.

The role is based in Barton Le Clay.

Duties of the Assembly Fitter role:

1. Stripping down and rebuilding vehicles
2. Fitting specialist storage
3. Install telematic systems
4. Interior fitting of vehicles
5. CCTV systems
6. Interior racking systems

This company is based in Bedfordshire and converts standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use for the emergency services. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their manufacturing team, focusing on the conversion of vehicles such as police cars, vans, and paramedic vehicles.

Experience required for the Assembly Fitter role:

1. Auto-electrical experience is an advantage
2. Varied skill set
3. Practical skills are an advantage
4. Open to learning and a good work ethic
5. Experience using hand and power tools
