Join our Team: Assembly Fitters

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Location: Farlough

Job Type: Full Time and Permanent

Hours: 39hrs per week


Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Assembly Fitter to contribute to the Operations Team at Terex Farlough.

We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity, and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Farlough. We currently have opportunities for Assembly Fitters.


What you’ll do

You will be part of the assembly line fitting team using power and manual tooling, following technical engineering drawings whilst working to set targets on the production line. You will be constantly aware of the health and safety controls in place, and work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Assembly line fitting
  2. Use of power and manual tooling
  3. Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  4. Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
  5. Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts


What you’ll bring

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of the following:

  1. Hydraulic/mechanical fitting (any industry)
  2. The ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
  3. Working to strict health and safety procedures
