Job description

I am currently recruiting a Skilled Mechanical Assembly Fitter for my client located in the Burnley area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer that specializes in various sectors including Aerospace, Automation, Mining, Rail, and more.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 16:30 - 02:45

Pay: £22.96 per hour

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is beneficial but not essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to detailed engineering drawings.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
3. Perform testing on parts.
4. Conduct rework and modifications as needed, maintaining accurate documentation.
5. Support lean manufacturing initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Work with departments such as Quality, Design, and Engineering.
