Job Description

We are in search of Machine Operators for 2nd shift and Assembly Workers for 1st shift in the Lancaster, Ohio area.

Assembly Information:
  • 1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $17/hr
Assembly Operator Responsibilities:

The Assembly Operator will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies used in the production of wire and cable harnesses. Must be comfortable sitting or standing for 7-8+ hours/day and possess good manual dexterity to manipulate and assemble small components, electronic pieces, wires, and cables. This position may require the use of tools such as tweezers, screwdrivers, scissors, hand cutters, semi-automatic cable cutters, jacket strippers, soldering irons, magnifying lenses, microscopes, calipers, DMM’s, crimping and terminating machines, ultrasonic welders, etc.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
  • Read a tape measure accurately.
  • Insert bottom die cuts, pleated-inserts, and/or top die cuts into pallet-pans as they pass on a conveyor.
  • Perform daily tasks on the MMP-line, including assembly and inspection/boxing positions.
  • Cross-train on inspection/boxing to ensure quality and proper packaging.
  • Assist with size-changeovers and machine cleaning during shifts.
  • Make minor adjustments and repairs to maintain quality, and coordinate with maintenance when needed.
  • Monitor and ensure die-cut supplies are sufficient.
  • Verify media and pleat counts of filters delivered to the MMP.
  • Monitor glue levels and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Train new operators/assemblers as needed.
  • Learn about different media types and filter specifications.
  • Participate in cross-training within the department and plant.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in Lean projects and adhere to safety policies, including PPE requirements.
