Job description

Assembler / Vehicle Fitter - £13.50 per hour plus overtime - Benefits include 28 days holiday, bonus after qualifying period, Pension, On-site parking, Monday to Friday, 7.30 - 16.00 - Fishponds, Bristol - Temporary ongoing position with immediate start

Our client are a well established and successful organisation and due to a healthy order book, they are looking to recruit additional Vehicle Fitters / Assemblers to join their team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working in a busy workshop, this role would suit someone who has previously worked as vehicle fitter or has strong assembly and fitting skills and is familiar with using hand tools and power tools to assemble and fit parts and components.

The role of the Vehicle Fitter / Assembly Fitter will involve the modification of vehicles, carrying out fitting and assembling - this will include drilling, riveting, assembly and fitting of parts and fixtures internally and externally to vehicles.

The successful candidate will have experience using workshop tools, and basic metal working skills are beneficial along with any knowledge of vehicles that can be applied to this work is of interest. This Vehicle Fitter / Assembly fitter role is a production based role, so previous production/factory experience is essential. In addition it would be advantageous if you held a full UK driving licence and had your own tools.

In return you will be joining a highly successful and expanding production company based locally in the Fishponds area as they go through a exciting and busy period, with opportunities to progress and develop.

13.50 per hour + Overtime
39 hours per week, 7.30-16.00, Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday)
